Scheduling a Regular Office Appointment

Each of our clinic locations is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; of course, individual physician schedules may vary.  To schedule a routine office appointment, call the clinic location of the urologist you would like to see.

HMO Patients: If you have a HMO type medical insurance please first contact your primary physician to obtain authorization before scheduling an appointment with a medical specialist such as a urologist.

PPO Patients: You medical insurance plan permits you to schedule appointments directly with a urologist or other medical specialist and does not require a authorization from your primary physician.

When calling for an appointment, you will be asked the following information, please be prepared:

• Name of patient
• Date of birth of patient
• Mailing address
• Daytime phone number
• Insurance information
• Name of the physician who referred you to Urology Clinics of North Texas
• Reason for the appointment or a brief description of your symptoms

Emergency calls & Urgent care

In the event of an emergency during office hours call the clinic office for instructions. If the office is closed the answering service will receive your call and refer your message to the physician covering after hours. Alternatively, you may call 911 or proceed directly to the emergency room most convenient to you and have the staff on duty there get in touch with us. Consequently, the emergency room staff will be asked to perform preliminary evaluation and treatment until your doctor arrives or an appropriate disposition can be made.
